About Me:: I'm a 46 year old married, mother of 2 teenagers. I'm a graphic designer. I've had Alopecia for 4 or 5 years. I'm a Hairless wonder, though nobody would know unless I told them. This is the first time I've put up a picture of me without a wig. I'm still afraid to go out without a wig -- I feel naked.

It's not really permanent, (it fades rather quickly) and I don't think it looks very natural. I actually have an ink spot in my eye where the tattoo needle slipped and went into my iris!!

I've had AU for 20 years. Not too many people have seen me without a wig!

I somewhat light skinned, especially in the winter, so when the black hair that does grow, grows under the scalp in the winter I seriously has a green tint! LOL! The things we have to live with.
