I know how hard alopecia can be, particularly if you are a highly sensitive person! I have had it for about 30 years. Let me know if you need help or support. One thing that you might be interested in is my book, written for women, called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" (It just won two national awards!) It has a lot of good info in it, it can answer many questions, and it's a fun read, too. You can find out more on my page. It's available on Amazon.com.

Hoping to learn some things

I have been daignosed with alopecia 20 years ago, I also happen to be an HSP a highly sensitive person. I am constantly in conflict with my environment. Hopefully i will learn one or two things from all you courageous people. I am lacking a support system here in the States. My husband is there once in a while??? Even though i am a very strong person well my shell is at least, inside i am very vulnerable and fragile...it gets hard sometimes-(
