Hi Cheryl, I am responding to your question on your discussion here. If you go to my page you will see pictures of my daughters regrowth with the squaric acid. Unfortunately, it is not an over the counter thing since it is a chemical. Samantha's doctor monitors her closely and we have had ups and downs with it. You can Google SADBE to get more info on it. ..I am happy to answer any questions you may have. She went from being completely bald to having what you see. Cindy
