I have heard of that product you spoke about and I wish you well with it, but I have become numb to trying anything anymore because no matter what it is, we'll have to keep using it to keep our hair. I have grieved over my hair for many years and didn't want to let it go for a long time, but I finally did and I don't want to play that battle of emotions anymore. The funny thing about it now that I have accepted my baldness, my hair wants to grow back in spots but its gray, black and bald... I like my bald head look and want to wear it. It's too cold now so I have my winter hats/wigs, etc...But this is our versatility of being an alopecian. :)

Hi Danielle! I am from Charlotte, NC, but my second home is in Burlington. I am hoping to get a support group together sometime soon, so I'd love to be able to contact you! Please keep in touch and stay active on the site! Let me know of any questions you have.
Hi Danielle,
I know how hard it can be. I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. Check it out on my page -- and let me know how else I can help.
