I was told by my alternative health care doctor that this little plastic mallet with steel spikes on the end of it would help my hair grow back if I tap it gently on my bald spots. Watch and see. And sorry this little metal spiked device is actually called a Pear Blossom, not a Prickly Pear like I called it in the video.

I tried this years ago through a Chinese doctor. I think your growth may just be coincidental. I had no luck. But if it's working for you - keep on keepin'. Maybe it's the power of postive thinking, too!

my acupuncturist (and another person recommended I use this) uses this on me. i am seeing some small growth, but since i'm throwing an army of stuff at my head who knows if it helps. sometimes it does bleed a tiny bit when they do it, but it's not too bad. i think it hurts the most on areas where the scalp is the healthiest. i'd like to get one to use at home, but i don't know where to get one. i'm not sure my guy will just give me one. love the blog, btw!

Cool! I've seen that before. I went to an acupuncturist to see if he could help with the alopecia and he mentioned using the "Prickly Pear" ;) yeah that name is cooler!

Thanks for that link Orion!

Darn. I can't seen to locate the video. Did it expire? My neturopath recommended this as well and your video is the only thing I can find online.
