You may have seen the buzz about the 4B Movement—a response to societal and political frustrations, urging women to say “no” to certain norms, including relationships and even their appearance. Some are even shaving their heads as an act of protest, claiming it makes them “less attractive.”

As someone who works with women living with alopecia—women who didn’t choose to lose their hair—I can’t stay silent about this.

We cannot afford to support one movement while inadvertently harming another. I come in peace, support, and love.
