I saw this on Facebook many times. As sweet as his gesture was. His expression was still uncomfortable for me to even look at. She still didn't like him anyway. I'm glad she was comfortable enough to do this.

Seriously how is this suppose to be a good thing? Taking your wig off in public on a first date and creeping the other person out. What's the point of purposely creating an awkward situation? If someone did that to you or me it would be super awkward, the irony of the situation is that if she was a man with alopecia she wouldn't even get to go on dates.

I totally love this.  It's better to find out right away if the person can handle you being bald.  If he can't, then you just dodged a bullet.  I think he really admired her.  She's super beautiful with or without hair and any guy who can't see that isn't worth her time.  If it creeps you out, then you have other issues.  If it were a guy with alopecia, he wouldn't be wearing hair in the first place probably, but I'm sure he'd still have lots of dates if he was nice, sweet and as handsome as she is pretty!  Hair is superfluous on her.  Her hair did look really nice and natural but I'm glad she had the self-confidence to go without it!

You just contradicted yourself. A guy didn't have hair he would be handsome and wouldn't be getting any dates. She made the whole encounter super awkward I cringed just watching that. I guess modesty doesn't exist anymore.

Sorry but I thought they both handled it well. She was very pretty and natural and while he may have been initially shocked, he seemed sincere.

I think she should have shown up if she wanted to take the wig off, then again it was all her call and she felt comfortable.  Me, being a widow with AU,  have always felt if I ever date again, I would not tell the man until after several dates, after I have had time to see if I want to more dates but want to then see how the man feels about the AU.  I will add this young lady looks quite pretty without her wig.
