After watching my other video with the wig, I realized how much hair really CAN get in the way!! Who needs it? Not this girl :)

This is great! Makes me want to hula hoop without my wig on! Great choice of music also. Thanks for sharing, it's very inspirational, just what I needed (*.*)

LOL @Norm... that WAS funny! I felt like a complete airhead when I first read it and then it came around and slapped me in the back of the head!

Oh how I heart Led Zeppelin :)

Hiya Jill - you must have different hoops in the U.S. from the ones we have over here. None of ours seem to have ends...

Tum-te-tum.... time to go.... :)

Hey Jill - so cool that you are interested!

Yes, a special hoop is required. They cost a bit more than what you would get at the toy store.. those are a bit too light. I've tried just waist hooping with a store bought hoop and couldn't keep it up to save my life! LOL

You can find them all over the place online though. If you go to Etsy and search 'hula hoops', there will be a huge array of options. They're about $30 on average but totally worth every penny - most sellers will allow you to customize your own colors or allow you to choose from tons of cool options. I would recommend starting out as heavy as you can and maybe try 38-40 inches in diameter. The heavier the hoop, the easier it is to feel it on your pressure points.

Good luck in your quest!

Gail - please please please thank your lovely little girl for me! I wasn't having a very pleasant start to the day and seeing that just made it so much better. It's never too soon to start! She could be making adorable little videos in a few weeks time! :)

Hey.
That was soo cool!! I am amazed with your talent. I know that I would never be able to do that. When I saw the video I couldn't believe my eyes. It has made my day a great day and a little less nervous about what athers think about me.
