I developed Alopecia while I was pregnant with my son 17 years ago. I was 19 and had no idea why my hair was falling out. I kept telling myself that it was just from the stress of an unexpected pregnancy. I was a pre-school teacher at the time and thank God for children and their compassion and understanding.
