I came across a post of yours and wanted to say hi as I too have had AU for a long time since a young age. I'm 45 now, had AA from 2 years old and then AU from 11 years old. I have not met or engaged with anyone with AU and appreciated your honesty in the post I read. Some days are still tough even after all these decades which is hard to admit. I believe from my experience that having AU greatly affected and affects my identity and ways I have responded to life. I was disgnosed with CPTSD 5 years ago. We may have some common experiences and struggles. I hope you are having more good days than not.
I happened to come by some of your posts and absolutely love your insight, humour and above all positive yet candid outlook. Just wanted to leave you a comment to say thanks for being an awesome person
