Angel Hair for Kids® is a program of A Child’s Voice Foundation® that provides wigs and hair loss solutions to financially disadvantaged children in Canada, who have lost their hair due to medical conditions and/or treatments. Using hair that is generously donated to the program, the foundation can create wigs and hair systems and provide them at no cost to the child’s family. It takes 10-15 donated ponytails to make one hair prosthesis; $800 to $1000 is budgeted by the foundation to cover manufacturing and related costs.

On Sunday, November 25th, 2012 from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, Angel Hair for Kids Program is hosting a fundraising event at the Renaissance by the Creek Convention Centre. This delightful day for adults and children will include:

Mattel Toys and Crafts Station
Mini Manicures
Fun with Hair: Colourful Extensions and Wig Station
Fashion Hair Show
Full course luncheon
…and so much more!

Ticket prices are only $75 for adults and $45 for children under the age of 15 .

Hosted by Canadian celebrity Adamo Ruggiero (host of YTV's The Next Star & Degrassi Alumni), with other celebrity appearances by Degrassi's Melinda Shankar, celebrity stylist Marc Anthony, and more.
