A COMMUNITY REUNITED!
Join NAAF in celebrating NAAF’s 40th anniversary at "A Community Reunited", the annual NAAF International Conference, scheduled for Thursday, June 30, to Sunday, July 3, 2022, in Washington DC. This unforgettable experience - the first in-person conference since 2019! - will connect you with a network of people who share similar challenges to those you may face. Special guests and speakers will offer inspiration, professional caregivers will share medical information and advice to better understand and manage alopecia areata, and expert researchers will detail the latest findings of NAAF’s Treatment Development Program. A panel of researchers and representatives of companies pursuing treatments will provide the extraordinary opportunity to directly address questions to the very people most intimately involved in the search for treatments and a cure for alopecia areata.

"RESILIENCE, COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE"
As part of NAAF's "You Are Not Alone: NAAF Education and Empowerment Webinar Series," our first of 12 webinars will kick off with “Resilience, Courage and Confidence” featuring Shamsha Damani and Sofia Martinez. Shamsha was diagnosed with alopecia universalis since 2013 and serves as a support group leader and Health and Research Ambassador (HARA) for NAAF. Sofia is an engineer and the founder of “Oh Hell Yeah I Am,” a Life Coaching company. She has dealt with alopecia since she was 6 years old. In this webinar, you will work through the notions of resilience, courage and confidence and identify practical tools to become resilient, practice courage and develop confidence so you can start to feel good in your own skin.4:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM CT / 7:00 PM EDT
