4/4 Sat 3:00pm meeting at Ivar's Salmon House Lake Union

Hi fellow alopecians and Seattlites and around areas,

My friend Shari and I arranged a fun get together and your all invited. Plus anyone else w/ alopecia. We did this last year with eight people(some from Canada even). We met at Anthony's in Seattle and we had a reserved table in the back which allowed for privacy in conversation and we just had a lot of fun. We just arrange that with people that we know and some from BC group. This year we like to do the same thing but arranged it for an invite anyone who would like to come with AA.

Please RSVP to me or Shari so that I can reserve the right amount of space. We are doing at  Ivars on Lake Union April 4th Saturday at 3:00. You may purchase your own beverages, apptizers or meal. Ivars has free parking for anyone attending the restaurant. They have a lot good food and different options. I found their apps and chowder more economical. www.ivars.com/locations/salmon-house

We like to start doing get togethers for fun and support. May do the next more on south end.

Great I idea I would love to come! I work on Saturday but I will try to move some clients around to get out early. I will message back in a few days to RSVP if I can make it out. I would love to meet people wit AA like me. Thanks! :)

Update:  We have at least 10 of us planning to attend!  Yeah!!! I think there may still be a few more!

Now 17!!! I'm thinking it maybe hard to talk to all, so after our meal and all if others want to walk to or drive to GasWorks park few blocks away can walk and chat some more, etc. Excited and will see soon~

We are up to 20 people now!  Should be a great visit!!!!  I was thinking with such large group we should at least have one quick go round the table for introductions (name) and perhaps how long they had AA and perhaps give each the opportunity to tell us about anything they want such as something about AA or Family or hobby . . . Then after introductions . . . who knows?  But we should at least get the chance to have everyone introduce themselves and talk about something they want say about themselves . . .

Also, I will pass around a sheet for contact information for anyone wanting to be on a list for future gatherings.  Most of the people learned about our meet through the NAAF support group, which I don't have the contact info.

I am excited to meet everyone!

Thanks all, who came out and Shari!! Was very nice to meet and fun. Understand hard wkend if people couldnt. We hope to do more meetups, like quarterly and will keep posted. :-)

Hi Lea and Shari,

Thank you for organizing the get together yesterday, Tanya and I really enjoyed meeting everyone. What a genuine and friendly group, the drive from Vancouver was definitely worth it. Glad they didn't kick us out and we could stay for a bit longer and chat :). Look forward to seeing everyone again.

Yes was so Great to see you guys and all were cool & sweet!! Yea, turned out well! We appreciate you guys making the trek down for. Sorry border traffic was so long, hope easy going home! Yes, was super nice of staff to let hang so long and look forward to next!! Thank you!
