Hello guys,
Do you know if there is any connection between AA and drinking alcohol?
I usually drink a lot, like every Friday, and I am wondering if it is making my condition worse. I know alcohol is wrong for the body and I would probably change my diet anyway. Do you see any connection between the diet, alcohol and your AA?
Cheers :)

When I went to college and stopped the shots, and started drinking wine, beer and fruity drinks with friends and the sorority, my hair grew BACK. Maybe it was just time in the AA cycle, maybe it was less stress...but more alcohol did NOT make more hair fall out for me. I was able to go get a real beauty shop hair style for the first time, as my mom had had a friend give home perms in my youth and I wore wigs in my teen years. What a proud day, at that beauty shop!
You do the right thing, however, for health and legalities.
I drink absolutely no alcohol, and never really did, sorry but I can't stand it, weird I know. OK Tallgirl, your making me think I should start..lol Kidding aside, I do know that excessive drinking is bad for anyone, working in health care, I see the worse of it, and believe me most don't really know how bad it can get. So I guess that my advice would be just don't drink to excess, not for your hair, but for the rest of you, besides its a depressant, and I know I don't need that, my lack of hair is all the depressing I can take. So No I don't think Alcohol causes AA, or makes it worse.
