Something to consider and hopefully inspire...

Thousands, if not millions of people are envious of what most people on this site have for free - no hair.

Watch TV, go to the beach, thumb through a fashion magazines? The current trend is to be a bald as Mr. Bigglesworth (in case you don't know the connection - he's the hairless cat from the Austin Powers movies).

I've never seen to many bald bodied men in life. I don't think they'll even let you on South Beach in Miami if you're not as smooth as a babies bottom : )

Millions are being spent in an effort to remove all traces of hair from the chest, legs, back, eyebrows, and other 'areas', yet those with Alopecia get that for free.

Most women would be ecstatic if they never again had to deal with shaving their legs, underarms, and again other 'areas'.

So....who are really the unfortunate ones here....seems to me like WE have a most sought after advantage.

I like this idea!
Your right, if your a good person, being bald just makes sure you get even more from life.
I have to say, this year has been an interesting one on my alopecian journey.

The heat this summer in Tennessee (and much of the country) was unbearable -- 3 straight months of 100+ degree heat indexes and 90+ degree temperatures, alongside 100% relative humidity and NO rainfall...well, you get the idea.

From Nashville to Memphis to Indianapolis to Atlanta to New Orleans and all points in between, I got the same compliment -- "You have the BEST hairstyle for this weather -- I wish I thought of it!" Well of course, most people say that just to be nice, but while everyone else was complaining about having to wash their hair constantly to get all the sweat and gunk out of it from the heat, I was very happily walking around with a wet washcloth on my head and staying cool the whole time and loving it!

Now of course, if I could find a way to keep the sweat from rolling into my eyes and burning due to a severe lack of eyebrows....
