Hmm, not entirely sure where this topic goes in terms of the category, but "promoting" sounds good...
Hello AW! I haven't been actively posting on this site in quite some time :( Life has become a chaotic whirlwind and I've been busier than ever with school, work, managing my campus newspaper, writing, etc. But I'm writing now to share: I'm currently taking a journalism workshop entitled Personal Essay and I'm writing about my journey with alopecia. As the moment I'm on my second draft of my piece and it's about 20 pages long, but I'm hoping it is insightful and enlightening for my journalism peers and anyone else who reads it.
Unfortunately, it is difficult for them to edit my drafts without a full understanding of the emotion behind having alopecia. I want my piece to not only raise awareness but to speak to people who do have alopecia.
This is a tall request, but does anyone have a moment to read my draft (warning: it's long!) and give me feedback? Let me know and I can email it :) Thanks!!

Hey AW! Thanks to everyone who read my piece. I submitted it last Tuesday and it topped out to a whopping 27 pages - eek. I'm contemplating continuing to write and expand on it with the possibility of turning it into a larger piece (maybe a memoir about alopecia?)...Will keep you all posted. Thanks again!
