I live in Canada  and I am just wondering if anyone was able to get their insurance company to cover the cost of the medication and if so, how?? I am currently just paying out of pocket and the cheapest I could find was 1600$/bottle  at Costco.

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I am not sure medications can be insured

Sounds interesting but to be honest, I have no idea. I’ve never met a case where the insurance company will pay the medication cost. Well, it might happen if you have work insurance while working at a drug store, and accidentally you break a medication, in that case, the company where you have insurance should pay for the medication you broke. Still, it sounds strange because for such cases there is company insurance that will pay for every broken insured thing.

If you have private insurance coverage with a drug plan it does cover a certain percentage of the cost of the medication.  Unfortunately, after several attempts they just would not cover the cost because the drug is being used “off label”.

I don't think that the insurance companies cover the medication cost of your treatment. This is the policy that the insurance companies have. Still, you can add this point to your insurance contract for some extra money, but not all companies can offer that . However, after some researches that I've done on the mcgeewm.com website, I realized that it's better to add this option because you never know what might happen. In this kind of situation, it's better to be prepared. So next time, be more careful when signing your insurance contract.

Insurance should be taken seriously. After all, the situation is challenging now in times of a pandemic. Besides, it's doubly dangerous for people like me who have their own business. After all, business is suffering because of the pandemic. And people lose a lot of money. Unfortunately, I couldn't resist the pandemic and lost a lot of work. As a result, he was left without money. To improve my financial situation, I turned to insolvency practitioners for help. Who immediately told me how to be in this situation and told me what kind of insurance to purchase.
