I am FURIOUS! I ordered a hat with hair (halo wig) and it arrived today in poor condition. Half of it is styled as it's supposed to, and the other half is just hanging there, stringy, with no style to it. I've bought two wigs from other companies and have never had a wig arrive in such poor condition.

Their return policy said that if I wet it to try to style it, I can't return it. If I decide to return it, I have to pay a restocking fee of 25%! and can only exchange it, even though it's their fault it's defective!!

I am going to e-mail them a photo of it and show what it looks like in the hopes they will offer good customer service and replace my wig for free.

Anybody else have bad experiences? I'm just floored at the whole situation and their handling of it!

I do that with old wigs, too.

Have you seen the current Ralph Lauren magazine where the model has the beautiful paisley head scarf wrapped low over her forehead and covering a large part of the crown of her head? It's perfect for wigs with bad bangs, worn crowns, etc.

Tie the pony with a pretty scrunchy and make it into a fashion statement. Try braiding it, too. The more fun you have with different looks the better life looks!

OMG! I have an order right now I was going to finalize. Now I don't know if I want to. It's just hats and scarves, though. I am also curious if anyone else has had bad experiences!
I never order from catalogs because I do not trust the stitching/tying into the base nor the ear tab fit with my glasses nor the thickness to hide bare skull underneath. I go to actual wig shops and try several on to find the best one...best coverage, options, fit and style. Plus, I can go outside the shop with a mirror to see how the color looks in the sun (natural? brassy? too yellow?)...which you can't do from ordering from a photo in a magazine.
I have ordered scarves, hats, and scarf pads from Headcovers. One of my orders was either not shipped or was lost in the mail and never arrived. They sent another shipment once I notified them, however.
yeah i have had my share of problems with their shipping - i started using them when i first went from AA to AU, they used to be SO attentive, but i think they have gotten either too popular, or dont have enough staff. i actually stopped ordering from them because every order i got was wrong. while they DID correct it and send me what i ordered, i expect to get what i wanted/ordered without having to call them back and find out what went wrong. Especially when you order eyebrows and you are down to your last pair... and they send you the wrong ones, LATE... *sigh*
Mmm well at least now you know to thoroughly research the companies return policy before purchasing through them I guess
