Blow out on wig?

I have a human hair wig and I do not like the texture of the hair.  I am wondering if I could have a Brazillian Blowout done on it.  Does anyone have experience with this?

It is a chemical smoothing treatment that lasts about 12 weeks.

I get blow outs done on my human hair wig but I get them done by the salon that made my wig so that's why I'm okay with it. They know how to treat the wigs when styling them, since that's literally all they do all day - make, wash and style wigs (Bits n Pieces in NYC). I think you should research places where you live that specialize in wigs / wig salons and see if they can style your hair for you. 

Also, yeah, you should check with your wig manufacturer to see if it is something your wig can take.
