Hi again!
So I have been wearing wigs for almost 14 years now. When I was younger I used a small bit of two sided tape at the front of my wig but then I got lazy and I have not used any adhesive for years! Also I thought it was not making much of a difference, but lately I have been interested in being able to do more active things like yoga and swimming with my wig on.
So I have some questions cause I feel lost when it comes to this stuff.
First which way do you guys use? Tape? Bonding? etc?
Bonding- how do you even do this?? Do you have to put something extra on your wig cap to put the glue on or do you just glue the wefts? or is it for only certain wigs?

tape? do you put tape all over the wig? do you sew on extra stuff to put the tape on?

I have heard of this derma fix stuff, anyone use it? and do you use glue or tape with it?

Please help with any tips, info and regimes.
Thanks!

I'm a bonded on hair system wearer and I had it custom made and have it serviced about once a month. It works great for yoga and stuff like that, although I was advised not to do hot yoga because the glue would melt. I don't do any underwater swimming in it though, it seems like it would loosen the bond and since my hair is platinum, the chlorine would probably turn it a funky color. I can, however, shower with it and wash it under water that isn't too hot.

That is cool. See this is something kinda unheard of here.. so they glue a wig to your hair? Or individual hairs? I am very interested in how it works.
And then you just are fine for a month? like can sleep and shower and everything?? that is pretty amazing.
Thanks!

Yes, they glue the hair system, which has a breathable cap and lace front, on top of the patchy hair that I have and then I'm good to go for a month, sleep, shower and everything. I, honestly, don't know how I would cope without it!

that is awesome, I wonder if it works for completley bald heads though?

Wig grip

Maybe tape....

Wig grip, wig doesn't move

hi;

Personally I don't like glue. my wig holds thanks to an elastic band and its internal clamps. I sell wigs designed for a break without glue or stitching..

good afternoon
