My daughter is struggling with bumps appearing on her patches on her head, has anyone experienced this, and if so what do we do about it?

What kind of bumps? Do they look like goose bumps or are they larger, sort of like a bump on the head? If they look like goose bumps they are where the hair follicle is. Do the bumps hurt?
She doesn't wear a wig, and it is just really wierd, she cleans well, and they only appear sparatically. She is so embarrassed by it. I feel for her!
It can be a mystery. One by one by process of elimination, have her decrease use of all the products on her head. Stick to one shampoo and then switch to another and see what happens. Quite often, the preservatives and fragrances in the products cause reactions, even in a brand you've used for years. One may be the culprit.
