Hi All,

I am posting 3 pictures of a new wig that I helped my daughter purchase. It was bought over a year ago so I don't really remember what I was told about the construction, but I think I was told that it is unprocessed human hair, hand tied.  I'm a little suspicious about the unprocessed human hair claim because we were also told that it should not be dyed.

Anyway, I'm not sure what the construction is and I'd really like to know.

Also, my daughter really, really hates getting a new wig. She always wants one that is the exact replica of what she is wearing and we never seem to achieve that. This one has never been worn because it is too brown, and her current color is more of a strawberry blond. I'm thinking of going back to the salon and asking if I return it, can we get at least a partial credit towards a new wig that is more to my daughter's liking. When it was picked up last year, my daughter said it was too dark but she was told that it would lighten with time. We left in the window in the sun for a long time, but I don't think it ever lightened. What do you all think?

Looks like some kind of lace/poly hybrid. Why not ask the store where you got it?

I will ask the store at some point. I don't think the person who sold this to us would purposely mislead us but she is less than specific when questioned. The wig does have a poly gripper type material around the outside edge. Thanks for the reply!

Hi Lisa,

Its a base construction of Fine Welded Mono (Someone calls German Lace) Top, Swiss Lace back (not Fine Swiss Lace), Tension mesh behind ears with adjustable elastic, PU coated on Crown and Nape. There is no picture of Front & Temples of the cap.

Thanks very much, Nuruzzaman. I'm just trying to educate myself so I've already googled for the difference between fine Swiss Lace and Swiss Lace. I read about wigs made of this and that but I don't have enough knowledge to then compare those descriptions to what my daughter is wearing currently. Thanks again!

Your daughter's wig cap construction is very uncommon. Probably you'll not get same without custom wig. Thanks.
