Corticosteroid Injections
Hi
Has anyone else had the steroid injection? I am going for my 4th round on Monday, I have a tiny bit of regrowth in the largest patch, but hair is still falling out all around it. Just wondering if anyone else has had success with this and how many sessions they had?

Hi, when I was young I had several injections. For me it usually only took a couple each time. My son however now suffers from alopecia and the injections weren't as consistent. He has had many injections and some of them didn't do any good at all. About a year ago I came across a product called Monat. It's a shampoo made from natural ingredients. He started using it and has not had to have an injection since. All his hair grew back. Needless to say is so happy. I can send you some info via email if you would like. Jbenda2014@outlook.com

My daughter had them early on when she started to lose her hair. They did not work for her. I have heard of cases where it slowed the hair loss down but with Autoimmune Disease it seems to take its own course whatever you do. Unfortunately, it is the nature of the beast. My daughter also went for the ultra violet light and that did not work either. Hope it is different for you. All my best.
