For the past couple of days I’ve been having a feeling that something is crawling on my head or if someone is touching me .I lost all my hair about 4 or 5 yrs ago I don’t even know anymore Cause stopped counting but when I’m home I always have a beenie on. It’s weird it’s on the very top of my head .I’ve never felt it before I keep looking back thinking it’s the cat messing with my beenie or someone is behind me it even happens when I have nothing on my head has anyone else ever felt this?

I’ll get this sensation occasionally.  I’ve even swatted my head a couple times expecting a squashed bug to fall off but there never is one (thankfully).  I just chalk it up to random scalp nerve activity because it doesn’t seem to be connected to loss or regrowth with my aa.

I keep doing that too I thought WTH is crawling on me! It’s just so crazy after all this time to barley feel this ..

When you run your fingers over the area do you feel (not see) any kind of lumps or bumps?

No there’s nothing there it feels like it’s under my scalp sorta like a worm (gross ) I know but it’s kinda hard to explain sometimes it feels on my head too

Yes. It has happened to me but not very often.

Something similar a few years ago, though it was happening at the top of my back. So annoying and frequent. All my doctor could think of was shingles. A couple years later, I had shingles on the back of my neck, wrapping around to the side of my neck. So glad I had the painful, sensitive rash examined early on as there is an oral prescription that curbs the worst of shingles’ effects. So… keep shingles in mind. Or maybe you are old enough to consider the shingles vaccination? After having shingles, the crawling sensation has not returned.

I occasionally get that sensation as well. When I had hair (about 7 years ago!) I used to think it meant I was about to lose a bunch more. I don't think that anymore, since I still feel it. :)

This has never happened to me before but what I did notice that has happened is I got a strange black-ish dark green round mole looking thing on my head, thats flat, came out of nowhere.  It doesnt hurt or anything, I stopped thinking about it thinking maybe it was a mole I just never noticed before.  That was a few years ago and out of nowhere, now its gone.

go to this store and buy natural herbal lotion put on scalp it rids scalp of toxins and microscopic parasites'  Also use the rose beauty cream all over. https://ageoldhealthwellness.storenvy.com/

Also use fungus cream from Mexico it has ketoconazole and penicillin in it. pomada cura hongos on ebay or amazon.  The lotion help cure my inflamed scalp.  BarbaraFrank222.com tells of the link between parasites' and illness including hair loss.  The lotions rids them in the body if used all over. I used it and it helps a ton.

Wow!  Great comment!  Thanks for the tips and info.

Hello HarlyQ when my scalp was "inflamed" felt strange sensations. My skin on scalp and parts where started to lose hair often was bit swollen and red. One of my dr had me stop wearing synthetic materials and the same for shampoo, soap and lotions. It seem to help some, though I have sensitive skin and still get flares. Hope you get some relief and good to hear your not alone w/..

PS I wonder if alopecians get phantom hair sensations - lol. I  will try pay better attention and let know if have / think of anything else. Hear of anyone.
