Just found this product on the website that claims that it can help with hair regrowth for AA sufferers. Has anybody tried this: Dr Wheatgrass Antioxident Skin Recovery Cream?

Anything new to report on this? DId you try it?
No didn't try it as no one else replied to this discussion saying that they had tried it. I did find a wheatgrass capsule that i am giving him instead. Will see how that works. Also have him on zinc, vitamin B complex, multi vitamin and mineral for teenagers and flaxseed oil.
I have grown sceptical as well. Sorry Barbara. We are all looking for that 'thing' that works aren't we?
Jon does have some fine white fuzzy regrown in patches on his head. Don't know whether the vitamins worked or not - plus just put him on the zinc so it can't be that.
Yep - looking for that cure sure leads us down many paths! I have been using arnica tincture also now, for the past few weeks. So far little results, but I am starting to get real complacent with any of my treatments. I had great success with the most visible of the patches, and great regrowth. The huge areas on the back of my head that cover with the top hair have been doing nothing for months. So I still wear a wig at work and socially. I do wonder if that area will ever grown back. My dermatologist told me he saw regrowth – but it is only about 5 or 6 hairs in a huge spot and that spot appeared in May!

I am waiting to hear back from a couple others on AW who have tried a couple treatments and report on progress or not. One is trying out the plan from Schmuel Gonen in Israel and another member in Connecticut has been getting new treatment/injections developed in New Zealand.

Gotta try, at least for now!
Hi Susan, I just looked up Dr Wheatgrass on line and it specifies that it is for skin conditions etc. but doesn't mention anything about hair growth on the site I looked at. THe funny part is, I have been drinking wheatgrass lately as I heard the same thing about it's benefits as a drink. Let me know if you get any more feedback on this product. I am considering ordering it myself.
Sue
We haven't tried it as i am sceptical about trying things that other people haven't. I did get Jon some wheatgrass oral supplements. We have been trying that for a couple of months now. Shall see if that helps. I have also put him on zinc supplements as well.
Sounds too good to be true. The research on Dr. Wheatgrass' site sounds promising, but it is probably biased. We're almost afraid to hope.
Yes i am not prepared to try it without some sort of proof that it works.
Always good to remember that the snake oil salesmen of times gone by carried a line of products to "treat".....what else? hair of course. Actually, they're still among us.

The so called research is bogus. Having the name of this product in the discussion title actually raises his google ranking since AW gets a lot of hits. Sure you want to be doing advertising for this guy?

Yes i agree. Have changed the discussion title. Didn't think of the free advertising aspect :-/ Thanks for pointing that out
