My daughter is 13 and was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata at age of 2.  We have tried everything available to help her regrow hair.  Recently we had a product referred to us by a friend called Monat.  It has only been in production for a year and is a totally chemical free, all natural hair product.  She went from having a mostly bald head on top in May to having a full head of healthy thick hair by September!

I am on a mission to make sure that all people with Alopecia are aware of this product so that they can try it for themselves.  I was blown away with the results and if it can help someone, I want them to try!  I signed up to represent the product even though I have had a life-long hate for selling or representing any product!

If you want to know more about it, please message me!

What product did she use?
My grandson started out with alopecia areata and now it has progressed until he is completely bald and has lost his eyebrows and eyelashes. It looks like some of the eyelashes are growing back, so what I'm wondering is what this product help where he is completely bald?
Did you bother to read the posts about Monat?

Snake oil. Scam. Money grubbers.
AND, NO CURE!

Sounds like your grandson has alopecia totalis. No cure -as of yet. Only possible remission. Has his parents talked to his derm to find things that can be done? There is microblading for brows and Latisse for lashes. Or, does he accept it as it is?
A woman just contacted my daughter on Facebook today telling her about this product. Thank you for letting me know that it's a scam. It's sad that things like this prey on people who are already grasping at straws's. It went from alopecia areata to alopecia totalis and we are in constant contact and appointments with his dermatologist. They're going to try prednisolone next. Thank you once again!
He is only two years old and got stress induced alopecia areata so we are hoping for a cure through the dermatologist

I'm curious as to how a 2yo has so much stress that he loses his hair.  Unless his parents are blinking idiots and fight all the time.  Congentital sounds more probable.

Please inform as I am truly interested in what his derm says.  It can be a learning time for all of us.

Remember that there is no cure.  Only (possible) times of remission.

I really think your question is out of line not knowing his mother. She is a single mom and she stays at home with him and she is the most patient sweet kind person I’ve ever known. Maybe you should keep your goddamn comments to yourself until you know all the facts! You’re not a child psychologist or a specialist on anything so maybe you should just shut your trap!
Her sister had four skull fractures in a terrible accident and broke her temperal bone in her ear. She went to stay with her sister and help her while she was incapacitated. It was the first time Jaxton had ever been away from my husband and myself since they have lived here since he was born. It was just too long of a time away from us and his dermatologist said because of that incident he was so upset that he believes it was stress-induced.
I just read your post regarding the great results with Monat for your daughter. Has your daughter had any relapse with hair loss? Does she still use the product? Your feedback would be appreciated as it will help me decide whether or not I would order the product. Thanks :)
I'm sorry that you misread what I said and then jumped to conclusions yourself. I was being sarcastic about how a 2 year old would have stress, not stating a supposition of fact. My point was figuring out stress for a 2yo; They really don't have anything to worry about. The fight comment was one of the only scenarios I could think of at the moment that would cause a stressful environment.

Regardless, I don't think it warranted your cussing me out.

Thank you for explaining how the derm reached his conclusion.
I apologize for cussing you out. It is a bone of contention with us because she is so patient and so laid-back and not demanding in anyway and she spends all of her waking hours and sleeping hours with him. It was one stressful incident that lasted several weeks that caused the problem. We didn’t even realize he was homesick until near the end. Once again I apologize for cussing you out
So, he lost his hair after being separated from you?
