Do your cheeks tingle?

Since I have lost all my hair, I have experienced tingling (similar feeling to numbness after getting work done at the dentist!) on my cheeks if something brushes against them, blanket, fleece jacket, son's hair. Does anyone else feel this? I am guessing it's because there is no facial hair to send nerve messages to my brain? No idea...let me know if any of you feel this. Thanks.

So, you want to communicate my experience with my daughter, who has alopecia universalis. She is following a treatment with a drug that cures neuropathy, but is an attempt, the dermatologist is not sure that in his case it works. Yes I have this- feels creepy when the cat rubs against my face. But I also think that it has to do with nerve endings and the lack of fine facial hair.
