female pattern hair loss

I was diagnosed with Alopcia about 20 years ago. I always thought it was spotty hair loss but I have severe thinning on the crown of my head. Is this also a form of Alopecia?

It is most likely female pattern hairloss - a derm can tell you for sure. Topper wigs work very well for this type of hair loss.

I was using a complete wig for many years but now I have a topper piece and it is a lot less uncomfortable. The cut isnt quite right but I am hoping to find another stylist who can make it look better. I also want to dye it as it is real hair.

I think what you want to research is Alopecia areata, a condition that causes round patches of hair loss. Hope this helps.
