I know most of us have experience with ridges and pitting. Has anyone else have faint dark lines running down nail from bed to tip?
Also anyone else wear acrylic nails?

You should look into Lyme disease , heavy metal toxicity , fungal/parasite overgrowth, and leaky gut. Your answer to all of your health problems (mental and physical ) are related to 1 or more of those issues
Read about leaky gut. So I did A.I.P diet for a couple months. All my results on blood test came back with nothing found. I thought hyper thyroid or diffciency of some sort. Allergy to a certain food. Chinese alternative medicine says possible "dampness" and wants me to detoxify extremely with different methods. But regular physician didn't want to test for Lyme he said because we're in California and it's not known for Lyme here. But my wife agrees with you and Chinese docs with either a metal like lead or something. I do flooring and construction remodels and sometimes work on older homes with toxins like asbestos for instance. But then again I was 12 when I first had a quarter sized patch of hair missing throughout my years it came and went sometimes more aggressively and now I'm 42 and in about 3 months time lost every hair on my entire body. So changing up my lifestyle to exercise, healthier eating, trying to cut gluten and dairy 100%, no more ocsssional alcoholic drinks, essential cbd/thc hot oil bath in hopes of stimulation, ashwaganda root extract for nerves system, turmeric gold paste for obvious reasons, cut the caffeine. It's not easy. But it's either this or buy fake eye brows and think about a wig. Which I can't imagine yet. Trying to stay positive. I pray u do 2
My nails are flakey and look like they been fried with acid. They are just starting to hurt at work. I am a tile installer. Had 6 different blood tests done last week. Couldn't find anything and that cost me 200 bucks! I'm now looking into insurance

My nails are extremely brittle and very very thin to the point it is difficult to tie my shoes. I get acrylics put on every three weeks so I can use my hands normally. Most of the acrylics fall off before then but it keeps them a little stronger while they stay on. Be sure to go to a high end salon!

I tried tofacitinib twice and each times it has treated my nails pitting
This is why I am getting health insurance. Only because I keep hearing about xeljanz. Which is tofacytinib citrate.im praying it gives me hair.
Ok. Been over a couple months now and nails are improving from when it began. Pretty much half the nail flaked off of my fingers. Only thing I did was eat better, daily vitamin, ashwaganda capsules, biotin, turmeric, thc,cbd oil, lemon water, walking, biking.
Still Not a hair on me yet though.
