I am enjoying my wig, but I continue to struggle with flyaway hairs, just like I did when I had real hair! For some reason, I thought that wouldn't be an issue with a synthetic wig. My husband gets exasperated at how I expect my hair to look just perfect. He said it looks more natural with a few flyaway hairs, so just leave it alone.

But, I'm constantly smoothing it down with wig spray or water.  Should I take his advice, and just leave the flyaways alone? Or, do you have any tips on getting the flyaways to lay flat?

Thanks!

Try patting your hair where needed with a low-scent anti-static sheet for the dryer.
i have the same problem and thot my hair should look perfect but will be happy to see how other people do it,
You can try using a dryer sheet, or try an anti-friz syrum, like "Friz eze"
Yes.. Definitnely leave them be.. I know the habits of wearing a wig we are more intuned of the imperfections, but if you think about it thats what makes people look more. When our hair is "too perfect" then that draws attention. Hope this helps.. I am only sharing what I have had people tell me:-) Let those fly hairs fly..
hi Amy! Hope you're doing well! Get some Define styling cream. It's formulated for synthetic wigs. You can buy it from PaulaYoung.com. I use it all the time. It's great stuff!
I always find that using product on a wig makes it move less and look a lot more fake. I leave the flyaways alone.
Haha...I was in Kohls just poking all around and noticed that people were really taking double takes at me. I looked in the mirror and burst out laughing when I saw that my wig was standing straight up. Like I put my finger in a socket!

Now I carry a small can of antistatic spray with me. Works great!
