Hair regrowth
Destiny's hair is all growing back now. We are all very excited. It is about 1.5 inches long now, and thicker than it was before. Although I am so very excited, I am very scared that we will go through the hair loss again. All we can do is pray for the best. I am pleased to say that through all of this Destiny's spirits have remained high, and she is the same young lady she was before all this started. She has been a inspiration to me though all this, and I am so very proud that she is my daughter.

Glad to hear it, I am having regrowth too now, this is my first time and I am excited too, but am still not going to get my hopes up too high, just in case it doesn't stay, I am praying it will and I will also pray for Destiny too.We'll hope and pray for the best.I am not using anything, is Destiny using any meds?

No meds are being used , and have never been used I did not want to make Destiny feel sick.

Hi, what awesome news. I'm saying a prayer for Destiny that it will stay this time. I understand your fear, as I've lost, regrown and lost again, in fact I'm losing and regrowing right now. Has Destiny had losses before? Did she do any treatments? Right now I'm using Minoxidil for the first time, and I do think it's playing a role in the regrowth. Again Great news. Enjoy the new hair!!!

Thank u for your prayers. Destiny has not used any meds now or in the past. I will pray for your regrowth as well. Destiny started losing her hair in Oct.2008 and had lost 75% of her hair in three months. Her hair started growing back in July of 09 and is now about two inches long. We are going to keep praying.

Thats when mine started to grow back and I lost all of mine in about 3 months also, started a little here and there in Nov 2008 so we are really close to the same time ,losing and regrowth, we will have to keep in touch and hopefully we both keep growing our hair back.Still hoping and praying for all of us.Take care.Be strong.
