In the summer heat, try this recipe for ginger ale:
http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Ginger-Ale
I've been making this since last year and it's delicious. I use 2-4 times as much lemon juice and ginger root and 1/3 less sugar.
I also make milkshakes with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries - no milk. Or I add some unsweetened espresso coffee to the ice cream for a mocca milkshake.
My inspiration for this contribution was the recent hot weather in my country, but it just started to rain, lol.

Wow thank you for sharing this Rose. :) it seems refreshing.
I tried making it using real "gingers", but it never tasted too good. And anyway, they mostly tend to run away when I come at them with the blender :)
Sure thing... if you don't want me to comment on any of your blogs and discussions on here, all you have to do is ask.
It's a shame, because I thought we were friends, and I don't know what's happened to change that. Still, if you won't tell me, we'll try and stay away from each other on here as far as is practicable, and be polite to each other when that's not possible. That way, we can both continue to use the site as we did before without having to "look over our shoulders". How's that? Sound OK? Hope so.
The fly in the ointment, though, is that there also seem to be 3rd parties who've decided to become infused with righteous indignation over whatever this thing might be, even though it's nothing to do with them (I'm assuming it's the same thing - they won't tell me either), so unless they also decide to act with a degree of decorum, and conduct themselves in a similar way to that suggested above, things aren't going to improve for anyone.
I think that's pretty reasonable - anyone else fancy having a go at it?
Friends, true friends stick by them - if that seems like "righteous indignation over whatever this thing might be, even though it's nothign to do with them" to you, well to others it seems like loyality.
I do not know of whom the others are that you asked that failed to tell you the 'issues' but I was never asked - and frankly - I would think that you would not want that answer answered publically - think about it - do you really want all that exposed. I would think NOT! Be careful what you ask for as you may actually get it.
She as asked you to leave her alone, she does not have to be polite to you if she does not want to - it seems she desires to have zero interaction with you which would not require being polite.
Enough said.
