Hi all.

Normal person sheds hair every day. According to Google, we shed from 50 to 100 hairs a day. I was wondering can one tell whether the shedded hair is from normal shedding or because of alopecia areata? For example, I read somewhere that the hair should have a white bulb at the end of the hair shaft. Does this hold true for hairs fallen by alopecia areata?
