I have had Lichen Planopilaris for 13 years, and until now I have been able to cover my bald areas with hairpieces. They have been getting larger and larger and I am now approaching the point where I will need a wig. I have struggled to find hairpieces or wigs that are curly and that don't look like Barbie Doll hair. I've been to so many wig makers, but curly hair just seems to be a challenge for all of them. The LPP has been devastating in and of itself, but not being able to find something that is curly, natural looking and remotely close to my original thick, curly hair, has been so difficult. Surely there are people with hair loss who have curly hair.

If anyone out there has had success finding a curly wig that looks natural (not synthetic and shiny), shoulder length please let me know.

Thanks,

Bev

Try going online and looking at TWC (The Wig Company).

Bev,

what color hair are you looking for? Would a naturally curly look be curly enough?

could you post a photo of what you want? I might have a recommendation for you.

Late to the party but commenting to help anyone trying to find an answer to the same question.

Lichen Planopilaris is one of the worst hair conditions. A friend of mine was diagnosed with LPP last year. Whether you want to buy a shoulder-length curly hair wig to hide bald spots or something shorter, I suggest buying it from a famous supplier like Lordhair.

Scalp-friendly base made of premium materials is critical to ensure comfort, durability, and breathability. Go for human hair if you want a 100% natural look. Here is the hair wig that my buddy has been using for some time:

I hope you beat Lichen Planopilaris!
