So I don't know if I just have a screwed up doctor, or if I just have every disease under the sun. When I saw him this week he said I have all of the symptoms of MS, but I dont have it. My pharmacist and I have became very close though my many visits and I found out she has MS and we were comparing symptoms and she was like my sickness twin. We also found out we have the same Neurologist and he is the one that found out she had it through a spinal tap. So I go to see him on July 5th (Of course hes on vacation) and I'm going to ask him. Since it comes and goes and I still cant work. I want to feel normal again. I lost 4 dress sizes from this sickness and I'm still going down. I definitely could stand to lose it so I'm not complaining, but I just dont like the way its going away. Does anyone on here have MS? What symptoms do you have? How did your doctors find out... I'd love to talk to someone about it. Thanks everyone!

Hey Tamara,

I HOPE you do not have MS - I do know however some early symptoms include... vision problems, urinary problems, loss of balance/coordination ( gait disturbance when you walk ), slurred speech and weakness/tingling or numbness in arms/legs. Do you have any of those? I believe MS is diagnosed via MRI and /or spinal tap.

There are also some other diseases that mimic many of those symptoms ... and one I am familiar with is Lyme disease ...it can mimic MS right down the line!! And I see you also live in MD ... and MD is one of the worst states for number of people annually affected by lyme disease! So you may want to consider being tested for that.... and there is a great lyme disease doc in Lutherville. If you would like further info - please let me know and I can send you all his info in a private message.

sorry you are having a tough time right now!! Hope answers and relief are right around the corner!!!!
opps! I see you live NEAR Maryland not in it.... ( sorry I sometimes clump DC with MD... bad habit! I need to stop doing that!! )
