Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of derm im Chicago area whose specialty is alopecia and willing to work xeljanz?  Thank you

I am from chicago  ill.My daughter as A.A. Thai ts the same thing i am looking for as well.Her derm said he never heard of that treatment before.My insurance does not pay for that medication neither.

I live in the Chicago area. There are two really great programs within a couple hour drive. The first is the University of Iowa program and the other is at Northwestern.

You can talk with your dermatologist and ask them to look into the program and then they should be able to set up a referal. I worked with the University of Iowa, they are really great.

you might try dr. maria kolesnichenko at northwestern. she has also participated in many of the drug trials. super nice and very knowledgeable. there is quite a waiting list but she is worth it.
