Hello guys and gals

was diagnosed in March...and now probably about 3 and a bit months after I first noticed my first patch, I have white fuzz in the 3 spots that started early on....is this a good sign that I may recover from this bout? I have no illusions that I may have more episodes, but I just wondered if this bodes well for this episode? Over about 3 wks from diagnosis, I developed a few patches of broken hairs, now the main 3 seem to be growing back, and the other areas which were just tiny patches of broken hairs are malting a little bit....I kinda know where they are because I coloured my hair before I was diagnosed so most of my hair has dark roots about and inch and a bit long, but the areas around the broken hairs have a light root of about 3mms, so I am taking it that they stopped growing a while ago and are only now falling out....is this how it has happened for others? I am looking on the positive side that I seem to have regrowth quite early on...but even though I knew these other patches were going to enlarge, and none of them are new as the hairs stopped growing when the other patches appeared, it still leaves me on a bit of a downer and makes me rethink my positivity.....

Does anyone have any input on this? Any advice from experience?

Thanks

Tracey

Can you explain what Naltrexone is? Thanks OneKeyLady! Also, I have been dealing with autoimmune issues. Mine are only showing up as "low white blood cell count" but I was told this "is nothing serious". We are about the same age. I am 48, and am in the middle of periomenopause. This is when the episode started, along with the death of my aunt who was like a mother to me. Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks.
I think the fact that you have regrowth is a really good sign. The frustrating thing is that we cannot predict. You have friends here if you need support.
Thanks Karen....xx
