Regrowth AFTER pregnancy?

Hi,

I have had AA for about 6 years. I have been able to cover it up until I got pregnant about 5 months ago and then the hair started to come out VERY fast. I can't cover it anymore and am just watching it fall out each and every day. One eyebrow is almost gone, too.
My question is, does anyone have any experience/opinions regarding if my hair may come back AFTER having the baby since it really started going when I became pregnant? And also, if it does ALL fall out is there anyone who grew it all back and kept it? I was in a 16 year remission before, this is my second bout at 30....

Hmm.... I got my hair back fuller than ever WHILE I was pregnant and it fell out after I stopped nursing... so... it could have the opposite affect on you! :)

I'm thinking along the same line as Rachel because I'm AU and got most of my hair back during my pregnancies and lost it all after. Do remember however that alopecia is unique to everyone and what happened for one individual may not happen the same for you, alopecia is unpredictable to everyone! I enjoy being a mother with alopecia because my children have learned not to judge a book by its cover and are sensitive to others' needs. My children have a 1 in 5 chance of developping alopecia at some point in their lives and I like to think that if they ever got alopecia they would be that much more equipped to deal with it. Everything happens for a reason so just try to make the best out of it! Congrats on the pregnancy by the way!
