Hi everyone,
I am AU since June 2017 and 13 weeks into Xeljanz. Started at 5mgs twice a day, am now up to 20 mgs twice a day. I have had no response whatsoever, and am getting increasingly discouraged and terrified that I will not respond at all.
I would LOVE to hear from anyone who ultimately responded to Xeljanz, but much more slowly than most people on this forum seem to take.
How long did it take for you to respond in any way? How did you respond? What was your dosage? Have you gone on to see complete recovery, and if so in how long a time span?
Really hoping for stories that give me some hope - thanks so much everyone.
Anna

I totally AGREE!!
Hi sadele,
I just read your replies and I want to thank you for them. I have been AU since June 2017 (out of the blue) and until recently I was pushing forward and staying positive, but the last few weeks I have really really been struggling to keep my head above water. 15 weeks on Xeljanz now (now at 30 mgs/day) and nothing at al lto show for it, not one single tiny hair. I am very discouraged and almost convinced that I am one of those unlucky ones for whom X does not work. I can't accept that this is going to be my life forever. I spent the first 49 years of my life known for my thick eyebrows and lashes and my full hair of unbelievable think curly dark hair. I don't know myself anymore. And I feel silly on some level being so deeply affcted by this as it does not affect my overall health, but it is just so devastating even thgouh tehcnically it is only cosmetic. I so badly need to believe that I will repsond in time. I can't figure out how to get through this. Hearing from others helps.

Thank you sadele! You are not the first person on this forum to have had better success after stopping completely and then restarting - I think Return_life had the same experience. I hope that's not the route I will have to take - but it's interesting!
I am also AU - lost all in a matter of weeks in June 2017 - and I have absolutely no regrowth so far, although my nails have improved. It helps a lot to know that the process can take much longer than I see for most people here on this forum. Thanks so much for your reply :) - and good luck with your regrowth!
