A hairdresser gave me a round scalp brush and suggested I use this on my scalp to stimulate the follicles and help my thinning hair.

Has anyone used one and what are peoples views on this. I am a bit worried as I feel the scalp brushing and massaging will pull out more of my very thin hair. When I mentioned this to the hairdresser he said not to be too gentle with my hair and that if it is going to fall out it will.

Thoughts, comments will be greatly appreciate. Thanks Jen :) xox

I recently read that brushing the hair stimulates the hair follicles, but overbrushing can work against you. I have read information on scalp massages which suggests scalp massages (in circular motions) and brushing your hair 15-20 minutes, twice a day. You can check out Youtube for scalp massage techinques.

Thanks Vesselsong :)
