Hi does anyone know of a seller of lace front wigs on the net that does good blonde tones. I want to purchase one that isn't too overly expesive that is a nice dark blondish tone. Many of the sites I have seen do blondes, but they are very orange toned (which I don't like :().

Has anyone had any success in this area? :)

Blondes are difficult because most of the hair used in lace wigs comes from India, China, and Brazil, where the virgin state of hair is dark. I know what you mean about the orange tone... I ordered what I thought would be a dark strawberry blonde and it wound up being light and on the orange side. I wound up putting a Clairol rinse on it. It's now a nice pecan brown. ;)

John Renau's synthetic "Smart Lace" lace fronts have some nice blonde and highlighted shades...but the hair is synthetic (hot, stiff, and too artificially shiny for me). The lace is temple to temple, instead of ear to ear, so you don't need to glue them. They're also a little on the large side, and my head is very small. I do better with custom lace caps and have learned to like the way I look with darker hair. :)

Hmmm interesting. I'm thinking maybe of a light brown then or a brown. What seller have you used and had success with the custom vendors. You could PM me if you prefer not to discuss on page :) thanks for your help I have never custom ordered from a vendor before so any help would be great :)

I wear lace front synthetic wigs lately and I came across a site that has light enough lace and it's not itchy. They have a lot of different blondes. I'm always weary of buying online because I usually never know what I'm really going to get. It never looks like the pic. Try lhboutique.com. I'm pretty happy with the 2 I bought. I'm wearing one now thats probably too light for your taste but the lace goes back pretty far and it has a natural hairline :) they're $60 and in the US so it didn't take very long for them to ship them.

My problem with synthetics is that they are too shiny, too hot, and funky smelling when exposed to natural heat (like sunlight). There's something about the smell that attracts mosquitoes and other bugs in the mountains where I live. I wear a short synthetic under a visor to play golf in and if I don't spray it with DEET, I wind up with a head full of mosquito bites, while no one else that I'm playing with gets one bite.

You are kidding me! Mosquitos love me. I don't wear a wig when walking outdoors. Now I know I will never do it.

Do synthetics turn pinkish in the sun? I have not worn them in the sunlight, but was told they would turn that color.

Yikes! I live in the desert and I don't have those problems other than the fact that they are really unnaturally shiny at first. I lived in AK for awhile and went camping with nasty Mosquitos but I didn't notice them attacking me more than my husband.

If not orange tones, then drab ash colors that are so ugly. They don't remotely look blonde at all.

Hello all! I would like someone to tell me where I can find wig x-small? I find it hard to find! Thank you! :)
