Hey everyone, my name is Justin and my fiance Bonnie has been suffering with alopecia areata. She recently decided to get her eyebrows tattooed. They looked great the first, and second; I haven't seen her so happy and excited in a while. Although now, as they are starting to scab and heal, most of the ink seems to be dropping out and all the fine line work is disappearing. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem the first time they did their eyebrows. Would a second touch up fix everything? Maybe the ink wasn't applied deep enough? Bonnie has very sensitive skin and I know the last thing that she wants is to develop keloids above her eyes. Any help, or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Hello, I am in the UK, so I am not trying to sell you anything, so lets get that out the way! The pigment does sink down into the dermis, and as the (I don't say scabs as they are more like flakes, and fairly minor) flakes drop there may be no pigment, this is fine as over the next few weeks this should rise to the top of the dermis, as it grabs. this should always be carried out twice. Some only do this once, this is a shame and not correct. The treatment should be carried out, then again 4-12 weeks later, fully. (always insist on this!)

If the person who did it is a professional, they will tell you you made need to come back for touch ups after 6 weeks. I had my eyeliner touched up when I went in later to do my eyebrows. She practically redid the whole thing at no charge. Just call and explain the situation.
