So I purchased an Indian remy lace front wig a while ago. I love the wig and the hair is very soft and beautiful. Its a great unit BUT theres one problem....there is a "sometimes" visible thick black seam that goes across the top of my head from ear to ear. The seam where the lace ends and the cap (tracks) begin. From that seam, the hair is going two different directions and refuses to STAY flat on top of or over the seam. So if Im not carful it is very visible at times. It sucks having to worry about the seam showing when Im out and about so I dont wear this wig as much as I would like to. With that said, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to get the hair to lay over the seam instead of away from it. I have not washed this wig yet and it has been sitting on a wig head for about a month now. I choose not to return it so thats not an option. It was hard to get a good clear picture of it but hopefully with the pictures I did I take, you have a pretty good idea of what I mean. F.Y.I- The seam in the pictures are normally not that extreme when visible. I parted it more than normal just to show you what I was talking about. Anyone have a suggestion or two??

Talk to Stacy with dark hair on this site. I think she is the one who kind of creates new ideas with wigs by doing some sewing on them. Also, a professional wig shop stylist can cut bangs, layer, or show you how to tease and spray.
HEY MS. G IM A HAIRSTYLIST AND THAT PICTURE OF BEYONCE LOOKS LIKE LONG LAYERS AND FRAMING OF THE FACE SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE GOT A VERY LONG BANG MAKE SHURE YOU TELL EM LONG LAYERS FRAMEING THE FACE OF YOUR CHOICE WHERE TO START AND MAKE SHURE THEY POINT CUT IT SO IT FALLS NATURAL RATHER THEN BEING BLUNT. IF U DONT GET IT CUT BUT WANT TO WHERE IT WHERE A HEADBAND OR A SCARF WITH THE HAIR THAT WHAT I DO SOMETIMES AND PUT SOME BIG EARING ON LOL THATS WHAT I DO WHEN I DONT WANT TO ATTATCH IT
Buy Joan Rivers' Great Hair Day blending powder. I got mine in blonde. I brush it on near my vacuum unit seam at the top -- [I also brush some down the center seam of the vacuum unit to make it look natural]. It washes out completely. It is very "blendable" -- looks just like the hair is extending down -- you can't even distinguish the unit from my skin! -- looks absolutely real -- you can't even tell I'm wearing a headpiece anymore!! You can buy it for about $19.00 at Bed, Bath & Beyond, although it's all over the place. I think I bought mine for $12.00 after googling it -- ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
When you are ready to order your next one message me and I will give you the site that we get ours. I have not had this problem and they are reasonable.

To Ms G would like to know how you hide the seam on your wig I have the same problem did the Joan Rivers Great Hair day work really would love to know?
