I was okay with loosing all the hair on my head, regrowing it, loosing it again and so on. Then lately I was even okay with loosing hair on my arms, legs, other areas on the body. I am okay if this stupid illness takes all my body hair BUT, don't take my frickin eyebrows or lashes. That's just going too far now. My friend is going through chemo right now and she lost all her hair but she didn't loose her eyebrows. So that tells us that alopecia is much more powerful than chemotherapy. It's just ridiculous. Today I read online that researchers partially reversed aging in mice. How about the researchers find a fricking cure for this illness instead. Find a way so I can keep my darn eyebrow.

Sorry, I just had to vent my frustration. :-(

Gena-

Let me know how you do with Latisse, curious- I hope it works!
I bought the eyebrows from headcovers, tried to put them on one morning and that's the day I beat up my stove with the package of foil! I could never get my eyebrows on straight, it didn't matter if I was drawing them on or sticking them on. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that in the morning anymore, permanent cosmetic tattooed brows keep me sane :)
wow, I just told my hubby last night , i was going to order some. I have my eyebrows right now, but just in case. I remember yrs ago I knew a girl who tatooed hers, but it was real thick, maybe it's done better these days.
If you still have some eyebrow hair then I would use a pencil to fill in the bald spots at least you have a guide to use. Without any eyebrows I had to use stencils, who knows where to start? You won't be able to use the eyebrows from headcovers if you still have hair, it's like a child's tattoo, just add water. The permanent cosmetic tattoos are not like tattoo parlor tattoos, it's brush strokes using minerals so it looks like real hairs and doesn't last a lifetime so there's no worry of sagging overtime. I have to take some time and take pictures of my new eyebrows to post here. I just love them, they give me a little bit of confidence and keep my mornings stress free.
thank you susan for the reply. I kind of thought how it worked. My eyebrows are all still there. I'm just trying to prepared for if or when my day come. I'm praying for the best, but just want to be prepare. I'm happy you love them, happiness is everything.
I got my eyeliner and eyebrows tattooed...My doctor was talking to me the other day and I told her and she was like >>> I had no idea - honestly NOT A CLUE that you didn't have real hair! It looks like hair!
My lady did the eyelash strokes and I'm so happy! I don't even fill it in with pencil now...
