So I don't know yet, but I have a DR. appointment for tomorrow because of a few problems. I have the shakes constantly all day long. It's gotten so bad that my handwriting is HORRIBLE, and before, I was the one at home who wrote the christmas cards because I have the best handwriting. Also typing right now I keep having to delete stuff a LOT more than before, my fingers keep pushing the wrong buttons because they shake so much. I also couldn't hold a cup to fill it with fountain soda the other day. I have also lost weight, which I am happy about, but my eating/working out hasn't changed. My mom automatically thinks its my thyroid, because her and every woman in her family, and in my dads family, have or had thyroid problems. I see that its a auto-immune disease, which I have plenty of...does anyone on here have thyroid issues? What symptoms did you have? I also have muscle spasms all day long in my arms, chest, back, legs. I also feel like I just can't relax. My pulse seems to be racing. I just feel like Ive been working out constantly. Its making my patients run thin... I'm getting anxious and mad easily because of it...its just getting extremely hard to deal with...so if you have or had thyroid problems, let me know if any of this sounds like it...I guess I'm just worried and can't wait for tomorrow, so they can do the test.

thanks...

I just recently learned that I have hypothyroidism. It's the opposite of hyperthyroidism, which is what sounds like you might have. Instead of losing weight, I gain it and it's hard to keep off and I'm tired all the time. I'm working with my doctor to find the right dose of thyroid medicine so I'm not so exhausted all the time. If it is a thyroid problem, being put on medication will help a lot! At least it did for me. Just make sure that once you are put on medication that you continue to notice whether or not you feel your "normal" self and consult with your doctor about it. Even if you still feel just slightly off, tell your doctor. Hopefully he/she will do all they can to help you find the right kind of medication and the right dosage. I had to switch doctors because my old one wasn't working with me well. I hope I relieved your worries a little bit :D
