Hey everybody! I finally got time to do a review on my new gemstress wig i ordered it off loris wigsite under impressions it was the "venice" i got it on sale for 1,300! Its just like my matt yeandle wig which lasted me 2 years with everyday use and it is still perfect i just wanted a new one so im sure i could get a few more years out of it! i love it! grips to my head perfect! It gripped great when i was almost all bald and now i have like 90% regrowth to my shoulders and it still grips which is great because i cant use clips im scared of it pulling. So i could flip my head over and it stays put. It is a lace cap combined with silk top stretch and silicone and ear tabs. I seen the gripper and it is just like it except better because its all hand tied no wefts and like 3 times cheaper! I got it in two days! After washing like four times its still perfect and has a wave. If u have questions feel free to ask me! Oo and its 14" european hair soft silky and bouncy i work in a salon noone knoes a wear a wig ** ive attached some pics just kinda cut out my face

Silk top wig is always natural looking wig. It looks that hair come from own scalp.

I can highly recommend https://dresslily.com particularly if you've got mid to long hair. The wigs are made with real hair and they are very realistic.

I'm happy to hear that you found a great wig, I just recently bought a gripper, I like the security of it, so I'm happy to hear that others are doing similar wigs for less! I was wondering if you can specify straight? Mine has a bit of wave, that I fight against, mine is lovely, and I'm getting g better at styling, it isn't much of a wave, but my bio hair is straight, and I prefer that. Can you be more specific with the web site? Which Lori is it? I'm excited about finding out more.
It is just a light wave so with product u could scrunch to get more defined waves but it is easily blown out straight! N yea i kno when i went to my consultation with peggy knight the grippers were beutiful but 4,000+ for the length i wanted i couldnt do it so i was very happy to get this wig it looks and feels alot alike except this has silk top which looks like skin and it only hase a few skinny wefts on the very bottem so the rest is completely hand tied. The website is called loriswigsite they have it on a reccomendation for the naff also! U could find it under the impressions part and i got the "venice" wig

Wow-that is great. I bought a Gemtress, but before they added the option of the realistic part line. That looks fantastic. Happy you found it.

It looks so pretty. Keep us all updated on how it holds up. Are you in a hot climate? I would wonder how it holds up and how hot it is on your head, esp. when you still have some hair. What is the care routine that you have to take?

Thankyou lexi! I already know it will hold up i still have my other in good condition wearing every day use for two years and it still looks great so i know this will be the same. I hold up pretty well it does get a little hot it was like 105 for a straight month over here but nothing unbearable

AnGel,
I'm so happy for you, I paid a little over 2,000 for my gripper, but it was a 6 inch, because I wear my hair in a chin length bob, and pretty short in the back, so it was perfect. The part looks amazing!! Glad you posted the other picture. I'm going to check out the site, thanks for the extra info. How often do you wash it? Don't you just love the grip of the silicone? Does the silicone run all around the parimeter? is there any silicone in the cap area? I got the gripper cool, which doesn't have the added silicone, wondering if that is more secure as If it's super hot and my head sweats the silicone can get a bit slippy, not like it would blow off or anything, I'm just aware of it. I like that you can grow back your hair and still wear them, that is the biggest advantage over the vacuum pieces, If I were completely bald, they would be a option, but for now I'm just buzzing what I do have left. Were the Matt Yeandle wigs more expensive? Sorry lot's of questions, but I'm looking for a second wig, and this may be the way I want to go. I'm so happy for you!!!!
Christine

Thanks christine! Yea i like the silicone although i dnt think its silicone its like dermafix on this wig it holds good! If you look on the website its very helpful it shows a drawing of the exact construction of the cap! It is like the same price as my other one except i got it when it was on sale it was 20% off so i saved 200$ u could join mailing list and theyl send u sale prices ! And its ok i always have tons of questions to before buying!

Wow, that looks so good! Do you know of anywhere that has a real pic of a blonde? I know these are processed so I am curious to see how the blondes look before purchasing. Your's looks amazing!

I took your advice and ordered one.! It's made by impressions also but is called Firenze. I got tired of using glue. I was looking into the gripper by Follea. I received it yesterday and the color was more of a natural blonde than I have ever been able to find. And besides, I saved a lot of money by taking your advice. Thank you so much. It feels great. When I get to wearing it, I will post you a picture. Thanks again.
