I know this topic has probably been previously discussed in detail, however, I am still struggling with trying to find the best way to wash and style my human hair topper. It is shoulder length, good hair quality, but I am terrified of washing it and can never seem to get it styled just right. Is it best to wash it on the styrofoam head or just soak it in the water. What is the best shampoo to use or do you just use conditioner? Should you blow dry it or let it air dry? I have heard that you can wash it every two weeks to 3 months. Right now, I have such anxiety over the whole washing thing, I take it to the place I bought it and they clean and style it, but it is expensive and I would like to do it myself. I am just not sure what the best way to go about it is. Does anyone have a fairly simple way to wash and style. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yes a very small amount goes a long way - I made the mistake of using way too much - I had a grease ball that i had to wash several times to remove the excess but once I did that it was so pretty. Now I know a little goes a VERY long way.

Hi I'm Gill and I wear human hair wigs from what I've read I think I've been lucky as I've not really had any probs washing them. I wash mine in the sink use only a little amount of shampoo that I put into the water not stright onto the hair I then towel dry it then put it on stand to airdry over night as for styling its just trial n error good luck x
