Hi NeniLinz,
I have found that the weight of the weave made it worse. I have LPP (lichen planopilaris)and my hair root isn't strong so any tension or weight made things worse. Good luck:)
I agree. Personally I think the weave could possible make it worse by causing traction alopecia. People that have worn tight ponytails or braids a lot often suffer from this because their hair is pulled.
I understand sweetie, but the weight of the weave/or extension may make matters worse. Like you I will/may have to look into wigs. I have yet to see a wig that appears natural. I pray for a cure.
You are still beautiful.
My suggestion is to stop all chemical services. I have same type of loss and I have my own brand weave. No blends I also have clip-in extensions ey are very lightweight because its the same hair that people donate so it is human. Because of my alopecia I had to have the purest of hairs. I use only coconut oil on my hair and scalp I no longer have to get cortisone. Where your hair is thinning a good stylist can use a closure. I get a full sew-in with no net my hair has grown back everywhere besides there. I can cover my bald spot with a headband in the summer because I have to protect from the sun with a hat I feel a weave and hat in summer is too much for someone with flashes.
Hi, my son and I both have suffered from alopecia. Fortunately I haven't had a bout with it since I was in my 20's. My son however, he is 25 now, has continued to fight it. He took injections in his scalp but most of the time they didn't work. I ran across a product called Monat. It's shampoo and conditioner. He was so fed up with injections so I started him on the products. He first noticed he was shedding and his hair was more anchored. Then his bald patches started to fill in. He now hasn't had to have an injection for a year. He now has a full head of hair and his confidence back. I could email you some information if you like. jbenda@2014@outlook.com.
I have been using hair extensions for many years. I have tried so many different types and now only use clip-in extensions. I find clip-in extensions to be more flexible and easy to use... I have tried various brands over the years and like most things I feel like you get what you pay for with hair extensions.
The best type of hair extensions I have ever tried have been Zala hair extensions.
The extensions are some of the best quality I have ever seen. Each section is so thick and shiny, the clips are also great quality too. The colour and length range is fantastic. They also have a few colours that are blended for people who may have multiple tones in their hair. I have two sets , one was vlond and I maked really cool hairstyles with them
I would love for you ladies to try my extensions both clip-in and extensions. The clip-ins comes in 16 colors and three lengths. Like Streem said easy install. All hair is 100% human clip-ins are Indian. The extension I wear.
