Before Alopecia, my hair was brown. Now it's growing in black. Has anyone else outhere had this happen? Is this normal?

Well, I'm just gonna guess here, based on my own experiences with leg hair. I'm a light to medium blonde, but when my legs are first stubbled it appears brown, however, when it grows in, it goes to the blonde. My guess is it just appears darker because you can see the scalp.

On the other hand, I've heard so many stories of women whose hair has changed color (especially after a pregnancy or major health issue) that I wouldn't discount that either. I had straight hair all my childhood but it became wavy in my late teens for no apparent reason.
Hey Kayden,

I have naturally dark blonde hair and each time I have re-growth in one of my spots the hair grows in very dark!! Much darker than my normal hair color- and it also is curly!! The curl once the hair gets long enough tends to straighten BUT the dark brown color stays. I've heard similar from others...so perhaps it is normal? I am always so happy to have regrowth I wouldn't mind any color! ( I can always fix that!! haha)
