What kinda music helps you out after a hard day of dealing with crap.

Alrighty then, hey people its Kevin, im 16 went through my first bout of AA when i was in the 6/7/8 grade and i had some really tough times and i was wondering what other people listend to, to help cope so maybe i could get some ideas to get some more ideas for my second time around here.

incase you were wondering, depending on my day i would listen to anything from elivs, Barry Manilow, Usher, really sad stuff old school michael Jackson. But on those really really hard days i had a lot of just scream metal cause you can really relate to the pain of the singer and in some bands they sing about hardships and by screaming they really connected to me cause thats all i wanted to do was just let it out and they did it for me. I recomend you check them out, even if it gives you a head ache, just sit down and listen to the lyrics cause there deep and it isnt just noise trust me it helped me alot, some of my favs if you wanna check them out are Convalesence- Darkest Hour, Myth and Man- Red I Flight, and Scavangers Daughter-Nights Like These, Atreyu is good for the beginning scream listeners cause they only do screaming in a few parts. Distance is Darkness- As I Lay Dying really good also, i doubt the adults will like it but teens check it out cause its really good stuff and if you like metallica and milder stuff you should be able to handle it. So please post some of your fav songs!

When I´m having a really hard day of dealing with crap I like to put my Linkin Park CD´s on and I just forget all bad things and I love the music so much. I discovered Linkin Park when I was first time loosing my hair around 10 years ago. Ther is one song I loved back then I felt like it was written to me- Linkin Park "From the inside".
same i loved linkin park back in the day, great cd, meteora great!
Depends.

If I want to feel sorry for myself, I'll listen to my favorite Counting Crows CD and put Black and Blue on replay.

If I want to block out the world, I'll put Dave Matthews Band on the jukebox and try to listen to nearly ALL of their albums. Of course this would take about a week so after an hour or two I'm feeling better.

:-)
I've found that rock music really does help.
The bands that always make me feel better are Novakill, Disturbed, Metallica, and sometimes Rammstein. My personal favorite by Disturbed is "Inside the Fire." It's loud, fast, and has a terrific beat.
I also like listening to Arabian music and dance/techno stuff, but that's just a personal preference. =)

some good songs that'll make you feel good:
sublime : right back (40 oz. to freedom '96) & of course santeria
bob marley : could you be loved
pepper : sitting on the curb
some bands: the bfoundation!(cdbaby.com), modest mouse, goldfinger, good riddance (fast punk), janis joplin, mustard plug. the moldy peaaches. operation ivy,
etc.

all GOOD, happy music for your days
When I am in one of those moods I listen to some Metallica. Good speedy music to get that stuff out but not hateful stuff either. and if I am in a real mood it is some Pink or Meredith Brooks. Course that is probably more for us gals LOL. Uplifting stuff is good, but sometimes it has to be pounded out!
Rufus Wainwright, definitely.
if I'm looking to work out some agression, I love linkin park but if I need to wind down and enjoy some great music I love Erika Badu, John Mayer, John Legend, and Corrien Rae Bailey
Sex Pistols' "Never Mind The Bollocks". I have 110% acceptance of alopecia, but after listening to this album, I still want to go & beat up the local barber!!
